Green Tea Swiss Roll Recipe

Ingredients

  • 5 eggs
  • 100g caster sugar
  • 110g plain flour
  • 10g green tea powder
  • 70g butter, melted
  • 80g red kidney beans, canned
  • 150g butter cream

Preparation

  1. Prepare the oven to temperature of 200ºC. Grease a rectangular cake pan and also line it with baking paper. Sprinkle red kidney beans onto the cake pan.
  2. Beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy by using a k-beater at full speed. Gently fold in sifted flour and green tea powder. Then add in melted butter and mix until well combined.
  3. Spread mixture into tin. Bake the cake for 8 to 10 minutes. Leave to cool.
  4. Turn cake onto a paper. Spread it with butter cream. Roll gently from wide end, using paper to lift cake and guide roll.
