Cinnamon Roll Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 60g caster sugar
  • 50g plain flour
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon powder
  • 10g cocoa powder
  • 40g butter, melted
  • 100g butter cream
  • 1 tbsp jam
  • 40g croquant
  • 1 tsp almond flakes, toasted

Method

  1. Firstly preheat the oven to 180ºC. Then grease a rectangular 10 x 14 inches cake tin. Leave these baking tools aside.
  2. Using an electric mixer, beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually fold in sifted flour, cinnamon powder and cocoa powder. Add in butter, mix well.
  3. Spread mixture onto baking tin. Bake for 6 minutes. Leave to cool.
  4. Turn cake onto a paper, spread with butter cream. Roll gently from end, using paper to guide the rolling.
  5. Spread the jam over swiss roll. Garnish the roll with croquant and almond flakes.
