Chicken Floss Roll Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 70g caster sugar
  • ¼ tsp vanilla essence
  • 80g plain flour
  • 50g butter, melted
 Chicken Floss Filling
  • 100g butter cream
  • 50g mayonnaise
  • 50g chicken floss

Preparation

  1. Prepeare the oven first by setting it to heat up to 200ºC. Also prepare a greased rectangular cake tin of size 10 x 14 inches.
  2. Whisk eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Add in essence, mix well. Gently fold in sifted flour, add in melted butter, mix until well combined.
  3. Spread batter into tin. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes. Leave to cool.
  4. Combine butter cream and mayonnaise, spread over the cake. Sprinkle some chicken floss over the cream. Roll gently from end, using paper to lift cake and guide roll.
  5. Spread some cream over the roll and roll on chicken floss. Slice and serve.
