| Cabbage Rolls Recipe |
Ingredients |
- 4 eggs
- 80g caster sugar
- 100g plain flour
- 60g butter, melted
- ½ tsp vanilla essence
- 100g cabbage
- 12 dark cherries
- 100g fresh cream, whipped

Method

- Blanch cabbage into boiling water until cooked then drain well.
- Preheat oven to temperature of 200ºC. Grease a rectangular cake pan as usual and line it with baking paper. Then line the cake tin with cabbage and sprinkle with dark cherries.
- Beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually fold in sifted flour, add in butter and essence and mix well.
- Spread mixture over cabbage. Bake for 8 minutes. Leave to cool.
- Turn cake onto a paper. Spread with whipped cream. Roll carefully. Cut the roll into slices and serve.
