Peach Pie Recipe

Ingredients

 Pie Crust Ingredients
  • 200 g plain flour
  • 60 g caster sugar
  • 120 g butter
  • 1 egg yolk
 Pie Filling
  • 100 g butter, softened
  • 60 g caster sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 60 g plain flour
  • 60 g grounded almonds
  • 3 peaches, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts

Method

  1. To make crust, combine flour and sugar. Rub in butter, add in yolk to form dough.
  2. Press dough into molds.
  3. To make filling, combine softened butter with sugar. Add in eggs, then add in flour and grounded almonds, mix until blended.
  4. Pipe the batter into molds, decorate with peach slices. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts. Bake in preheated oven at 180ºC for 25 minutes until cooked.
