Pie Crust Ingredients
- 125 g plain flour
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons icing sugar
- 100 g butter
- 1 egg yolk
Filling Ingredients
- 50 g butter, softened
- 50 g caster sugar
- 1 egg
- 50 g grounded almonds
- 2 teaspoons plain flour
- 90 g chocolate, melted
- 200 g banana flesh, diced
Garnishing
- Fresh cream, banana slices

Method
|
- To make crust, sift flour, cocoa powder and icing sugar. Rub in butter, add in egg yolk to form dough. Refrigerate for a while.
- To make filling, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add in egg, mix well. Add in grounded almonds, flour, melted chocolate and banana dices, mix until combined.
- Press dough into molds, spoon filling into molds. Bake in preheated oven at 180ºC for 25 minutes until cooked.
- When cool, remove pie. Decorate as desired.
