Orange Poppy Seed Muffin Recipe

Ingredients

  • 250 g of Unsalted Butter
  • 5 g of Ovalette (optional)
 B
  • 250 g of Caster Sugar
  • A pinch of Salt
 C
  • 300 g of Superfine Flour/ Cake Flour (can use plain flour, but make it is sift before folding it into batter)
  • 1 tsp of Baking Powder
  • 10 g of Milk Powder
  • 50 g of Almonds, grounded
 D
  • 4 Eggs
 E
  • 50 ml of Fresh Orange Juice, or Orange Juice made by using concentrated orange juice
  • 30 g Blue Poppy Seed
  • 1 tbsp of Orange Paste
  • A few Orange Rinds

Preparation

  1. Before starting to whisk or prepare the batter, prepare the oven first by preheating the oven to temperature mentioned above. Also grease the muffin cups lightly with butter or margarine.
  2. Whisk all ingredients A on slow speed using a k-beater for about half minute. Add ingredients B and beat on high speed for 3 minutes till light and creamy.
  3. Add eggs gradually and slowly and continue to mix well. Fold in all ingredients C and stir them well.
  4. Blend ingredients E into the batter. Pour into muffin cups and bake.
