Chocolate Chips Muffins

  • Ingredients

    Muffin

    A

  • 100 g of Butter
  • B

  • 100 g of Castor Sugar
  • 2 g of Salt
  • C

  • 120 g of Superfine Flour
  • 1 tsp of Baking Powder
  • ˝ tsp of Sodium Bicarbonate
  • 60 g of Grounded Hazelnuts
  • D

  • 50 ml of Milk
  • 20 g of Cocoa Powder
  • 100 g of Chocolate Chips
  • 1 tsp of Chocolate Flavoring
  • E

  • 2 Eggs
  • Directions

    1. Beat butter for about 30 seconds, and then add in ingredients B and beat for 3 minutes on high speed until light and fluffy.
    2. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well after each addition.
    3. Fold ingredients C and stir well. Add ingredients D and mix till well combined.
    4. Pour butter into a mould and bake for 15 minutes.

    Baking Tips

    1. The eggs may be whisked separately before they are added to the butter.
    2. This is to prevent the eggs from curdling.
