Banana Coffee Cake Recipe

Ingredients

 A
  • 225g plain flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
 B
  • 100g cereals
  • 100g walnuts, crushed
  • 4 tsp coffee powder
  • 1 tsp warm water
  • 150g butter/ margarine
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 bananas, mashed

Direction

  1. Preheat the oven to temperature of 180°C.
  2. Sift ingredients A thoroughly. Then add in cereals and crushed walnuts.
  3. Mix the coffee powder and warm water evenly and set aside.
  4. Beat butter and brown sugar until creamy.
  5. Add eggs gradually, one at a time and beat evenly at each time.
  6. Pour in the mashed bananas and add in the coffee mixture and blend evenly.
  7. Fold in the sifted flours.
  8. Pour the batter into a cake tin with the size of 25cm X 11 cm.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven of 180°C for 35 minutes.
