Ingredients

4 egg yolks
60 ml of milk
50 g of caster sugar
60 g of melted butter
120 g of cake flour
1 tsp of baking powder
¼ tsp of salt
1 tsp of orange paste
B
4 egg whites
50 g of caster sugar
½ tsp of cream of tartar
Cake Decoration
150 g of grated cheddar cheese
Some melted butter
Some icing sugar
Utensils Needed
- 1 piping bag
- 20 paper cups
- Patty tins
Directions
- Hand whisk ingredient A to a smooth batter. Leave aside.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk egg whites and cream of tartar until foamy. Add in sugar and continue whisking until stiff.
- Add in mixture from Step 1 into egg white batter mix well. Add in half the grated cheese. Scoop into a piping bag.
- Pipe batter from Step 3 into prepared cake tin and decorate with cheddar cheese.
- Bake at 180°C for 20-30 minutes. When done, brush with melted butter and sprinkle with icing sugar.
