Vienna Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 250 g butter
  • ¼ cup caster sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1¾ cup plain flour
  • ¼ cup rice flour
  • Melted chocolate
  • Salt

Method

  1. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add vanilla essence. Mix well.
  3. Sift plain flour gradually. Add salt to taste.
  4. Put the mixture into a piping bag.
  5. Pipe on a baking tray.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool on a wire rack.
  8. Take a cookie and dip half of it in a bowl of melted chocolate. Repeat the process for other cookies.
