Havana Cookie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 150g plain flour
  • 100g caster sugar
  • 85g butter
  • 50g Crisco
  • 50g dried coconut
  • 50g hazelnut, grounded
  • 25g corn flour
  • ˝ tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 egg yolk
  • red and green cherry, chopped

Preparation

  1. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add vanilla essence and egg yolk. Beat hard.
  3. Add all dry ingredients except for corn flour. Mix well.
  4. Then add corn flour to thicken the mixture.
  5. Knead dough and shape accordingly.
  6. Brush with egg yolk and top with chopped red and green cherries.
