| Custard Cookie Recipe |
Ingredients |
- 180g butter
- 1˝ cup plain flour
- 1˝ cup custard powder
- ˝ cup sugar
- ˝ cup caster sugar
- ˝ tbsp baking powder
- ˝ tsp vanilla essence
- ˝ cup flaked almonds
- 1 egg

Preparation

- Whisk butter and egg until fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla essence. Mix well.
- Sift plain flour, baking powder and custard powder into the mixture.
- Mix well until the mixture soften and become a dough.
- Knead and shape into a ball.
- Use a fork to release air and brush with egg yolk.
- Top with almond flakes and bake until golden in color.
