Rich Chocolate Moist Cake Recipe

A slice of rich chocolate moist cake, garnished with a strawberry

Ingredients

Sponge

  • 135 g of sugar
  • 300 g of butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 240 g of flour
  • 80 g of cocoa powder
  • 12 g of soda bicarbonate
  • 400 ml of fresh milk
  • Chocolate Ganache

  • 500 g of dark chocolate
  • 280 ml of whipping cream
  • 50 g of butter
  • Preparation

    Chocolate Cake

    1. Use K-beater to beat sugar and butter until fluffy.
    2. Add in one egg at a time.
    3. Sift flour, cocoa powder and soda bicarbonate together and add into the mixture.
    4. Pour in fresh milk and continue mixing until all ingredients bind together.
    5. Bake in oven at 180°C for 35 to 40 minutes.

    Chocolate Ganache

    1. Boil cream and add dark chocolate and butter.
    2. Then whisk until all ingredients become smooth and shiny.
    3. Let it cool at room temperature.

    Finishing Touch

    1. Simply pour the Chocolate Ganache on top of the Chocolate Moist.
