Chocolate Oreo Cake Recipe

A chocolate Oreo cake with some Oreo cookies garnishing

Ingredients

Sponge

  • 180 g of chocolate sponge mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 45 ml of milk
  • 45 g of butter (melted)
  • Oreo Biscuits/ Cookies Cream

  • 75 g of Oreo biscuits (crushed)
  • 120 g of fresh cream (whipped)
  • Cake Decoration

  • 150 g of fresh cream (whipped)
  • 8 pieces of Oreo cookies/ biscuits
  • Some chocolate slices
  • Preparation

    Chocolate Cake

    1. To make sponge cake, preheat oven to 180°C, line bottom of a 18cm (7-in) cake tin with greaseproof paper.
    2. Beat sponge mix, eggs and milk in a mixer with high speed until light and fluffy.
    3. Turn to low speed, mix in melted butter until well blended.
    4. Spread batter into prepared tin and bake for 30 minutes.
    5. Remove from oven and cool completely. Split into 3 layers.
    6. To make Oreo cream, stir whipped cream with crushed biscuits until blended.
    7. Spread Oreo cream over sponge cake.
    8. Sandwich together with another sponge cake until finished.
    9. Coat cake with fresh cream and decorate with chocolate slices, top with Oreo biscuits.
