Ingredients
Sponge
180 g of chocolate sponge mix
3 eggs
45 ml of milk
45 g of butter (melted)
Oreo Biscuits/ Cookies Cream
75 g of Oreo biscuits (crushed)
120 g of fresh cream (whipped)
Cake Decoration
150 g of fresh cream (whipped)
8 pieces of Oreo cookies/ biscuits
Some chocolate slices
Preparation
Chocolate Cake
- To make sponge cake, preheat oven to 180°C, line bottom of a 18cm (7-in) cake tin with greaseproof paper.
- Beat sponge mix, eggs and milk in a mixer with high speed until light and fluffy.
- Turn to low speed, mix in melted butter until well blended.
- Spread batter into prepared tin and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven and cool completely. Split into 3 layers.
- To make Oreo cream, stir whipped cream with crushed biscuits until blended.
- Spread Oreo cream over sponge cake.
- Sandwich together with another sponge cake until finished.
- Coat cake with fresh cream and decorate with chocolate slices, top with
Oreo biscuits.
