Carrot Cheese Cake Recipe |
Ingredients |
- 250g butter
- 250g caster sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1˝ tsp vanilla essence
- 250g cream cheese
- 1˝ tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 250ml fresh milk
- A pinch of salt
- 100g raisins/ sultanas
- Half cup of walnuts
- 1 tbsp grated carrots
- Almond slices

Method
|
- Combine all ingredients except raisins, walnuts and grated carrots.
- Beat the combination of ingredients until light and creamy.
- Add the remaining ingredients such as
walnuts, raisins and carrots and beat for another 2 minutes.
- Pour the cheese batter into an 8" greased cake pan and bake in a preheated oven at temperature of 170°C for about 40 minutes.
