Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients

SPONGE

A

  • 3 Eggs
  • 180 g of Brown Sugar
  • ¼ tsp of Salt
  • 1 tsp of Ovalette
  • B

  • 150 g of Carrot Flakes
  • 100 g of Pineapple Slices
  • 50 g of Raisins
  • C

  • 200g of AP Flour
  • ½ tsp of Baking Powder
  • ¼ tsp of Soda Bicarbonate
  • D

  • 1 tsp of Vanilla Essence
  • 50 g of Walnuts
  • ½ tsp of Cinnamon
  • E

  • 100 g of Melted Butter
  • CREAM CHEESE FROSTING

  • 250 g of Cream Cheese
  • 50 g of Butter
  • 50 g of Sugar
  • 1 tsp of Vanilla Essence
  • Directions

    Carrot Cake Preparation

    1. Beat ingredients (A) till fluffy.
    2. Add it ingredients (B) and ingredients (C) and mix well.
    3. Add in the butter and mixed them evenly.
    4. Pour mixture into an 8" cake mould and bake for around 40-45 minutes.

    Cream Cheese Frosting Preparation

    1. Beat cream cheese and butter until light and fluffy.
    2. Put in sugar and vanilla and cream again until smooth.
    3. When the cake has cooled down, spread the cake with cream frosting. Proceed to serve.
