Marble Butter Cake

  • Ingredients

  • 360 g of Egg Whites (Around 10 eggs)
  • 35 g of Egg Yolks (Around 2 eggs)
  • 200 g of Castor Sugar
  • 250 g of Superfine Flour
  • 1 tbsp of Ovalette
  • ˝ tsp of Baking Powder
  • 220 g of Melted Butter
  • 1 tsp of Vanilla Essence
  • 40 g of Condensed Milk
  • 15 g of Cocoa Powder
  • 20 g of Chocolate Emulco
  • 50 g of Almond Flakes (Toasted)
  • Directions

    1. Beat egg whites, egg yolks, castor sugar flour, ovalette and baking powder on high speed for 10 minutes.
    2. Add in vanilla and condensed milk and fold in melted butter.
    3. Divide the batter into 2 portions. Add powder, chocolate emulco to one. Stir till blended.
    4. Spoon 2 table spoons white batter into greased cake tin, followed by chocolate batter, sprinkle toasted almond flakes on repeat the process.
    5. Bake for about 35-40 minutes or till cooked.
