Ingredients
360 g of Egg Whites (Around 10 eggs)
35 g of Egg Yolks (Around 2 eggs)
200 g of Castor Sugar
250 g of Superfine Flour
1 tbsp of Ovalette
˝ tsp of Baking Powder
220 g of Melted Butter
1 tsp of Vanilla Essence
40 g of Condensed Milk
15 g of Cocoa Powder
20 g of Chocolate Emulco
50 g of Almond Flakes (Toasted)
Directions
- Beat egg whites, egg yolks, castor sugar flour, ovalette and baking powder on high speed for 10 minutes.
- Add in vanilla and condensed milk and fold in melted butter.
- Divide the batter into 2 portions. Add powder, chocolate emulco to one. Stir till blended.
- Spoon 2 table spoons white batter into greased cake tin, followed by chocolate batter, sprinkle toasted almond flakes on repeat the process.
- Bake for about 35-40 minutes or till cooked.
