
A Slice of Chocolate Strawberry Cake
OK, here’s a lousy snap that I took when I was in Macau. I was at the iconic St. Paul’s ruin. It was summer August 2008, the weather was hot. Then I stumbled upon a cake shop somewhere over there and decided to went in to have a drink and a cake. So the cake that I decided to eat was chocolate strawberry cake. What makes this cake so memorable was the soft and fluffy chocolate sponge cake that naturally melts in my mouth. The mousse that is layered in between the sponge cake is however a little bit bland. But then again the blandness is complimented with the strawberry jam that is spread in between the cake. Also there are some strawberry fruits on top of the cake. Lastly, I kind of forget what was the price that I paid for the chocolate strawberry cake as I was too enjoyed savoring the cake

Anyhow, I have a recipe for another version of chocolate strawberry cake. This version is rather heavy on the chocolate since the cake is fully coated with melted chocolate. In making the strawberry filling, I can use tin of strawberry puree or even using fresh strawberry fruits that is mashed or blended with some syrup. Also, we can use strawberry fruit jam as filling too. Lastly, for those who like chocolate, this is the recipe for you!
