| Strawberry Cake Recipe |
Ingredients |
Makes one 9 x 13 inches cake
- 2 layer size yellow cake mix
- 4 eggs
- 3 ounces box strawberry jelly
- 10 ounces package strawberries, sweetened
- ¾ cup oil
- ¼ cup water
Butter Icing
- 1 pound confectioners sugar
- 4 tablespoons/ ½ stick butter

Method
|
- Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease and flour a 9 x 13 inches pan.
- Mix all ingredients together (use half of the strawberries) and bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, beat together the confectioners sugar and butter and fold in the rest of the strawberries.
- Remove the cake from the oven, poke lots of holes in it and spread with the icing. Bake an additional 20 to 30 minutes.
