Strawberry Angel Cake Recipe

Ingredients

 Makes 10 to 12 servings
  • 1 box angel food cake mix
  • 4 cups fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 6 ounces box strawberry jelly

Method

  1. Bake the angel food cake as directed. Add the sugar to the strawberries and set aside.
  2. Mix the jelly as directed and refrigerated until partly firm.
  3. In large serving dish, take half of the cake and tear into pieces in bottom of dish. Stack with half of the strawberries and half the jelly.
  4. Repeat with another layer of cake, strawberries and jelly. Top with layer of cool whip and return to refrigerator until jelly is completely firm. Serve cold.
 Preparation Guide
  1. You can use strawberry jelly mix from Jell-O.
  2. For the angel food cake mix, you can use the mix from Betty Crocker.
