| Almond Sour Cream Cake Recipe |

- 2 sticks margarine
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup sour cream
- 6 eggs, separated
- 1 or 2 teaspoons almond extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
|
- Heat oven to 325ºF. Grease and flour a 10 inches tube pan.
- Cream the butter and sugar. Sift together the flour, baking powder and baking soda. Add to the creamed mixture alternately with the sour cream.
- Add the egg yolks, one at a time, to the mixture, stirring well after each addition. Stir in the almond extract and vanilla.
- Beat the egg whites until firm and fold into the batter. Pour into the pan and bake for 2 hours.
